Meet the Crew

What’s to say? Theboatplan is pretty much driven by myself, otherwise known as Captain AA-ron. Some call it a midlife crisis, which it might very well be. Life is just going by way to quickly and my children are rapidly changing into beautiful human beings. I need to spend more time with them so I figured trapping myself on a 45’ boat for a while should do the trick. I would consider myself very goal oriented. I like to research and plan. I like excel spreadsheets. I enjoy listening to podcasts and watching Youtube videos about boats. I like finances, business and crypto currency. I’m often laughed at by my friends because I’m completely ignorant of all things pop culture.

My wife Liz is an amazing person. When we first started dating, we went to the shooting range, and I started to explain to her how to hold and aim the shotgun. She promptly ripped it out of my hands and said, “I’m from Maine, I don’t need you to tell me how to shoot.” She shouldered the weapon and hit center mass. At that moment I knew she had to be mine. Liz keeps me on my toes and her fiery personality has transferred directly into the soul of our oldest child Mila. Mila oh my Mila, I love you so. She’s 9 and brings tears of joy to my eyes on a weekly basis. I’m also convinced she is the reason I’m starting to thin out on my previously always luscious head of hair. Next in line is Harrison, our 7-year-old genius. He’s so loving and caring and wild and crazy all at the same time. Max at 5 brings up the tale end and seems to be an almost perfect replica of me…mild mannered, smart and funny. I love all these kids and am excited to spend in inordinate amount of time with them…even though it’ll probably drive me crazy:)
